Recently, we had the pleasure of designing and furnishing a bespoke home bar in Kidderminster, inspired by a traditional sports pub with a dedicated Glasgow Rangers Football Club theme. The concept included a pool table, dartboard, and a full bar area, with a strong focus on incorporating the team's logo throughout the space. The brief required the logo to be embossed into as much of the furniture as possible, along with the construction of a custom servery bar and shelving.
As this was a garage conversion, we had to carefully conceal utilities. To achieve this, we designed and built custom housings using matching solid grade laminate, incorporating the team logo using our CNC machine to ensure a seamless, professional finish that matched the overall theme.
Working closely with our client, we finalised the design for a custom bar unit featuring space for fridges below and solid surface shelving above, enhanced with mirrors and lighting. This setup not only achieved an authentic bar look but also maximised the sense of space, using the mirrors and lights to create an open, inviting atmosphere. The design also provided ample room to store and showcase their impressive collection of spirits. Given that the bar would be the focal point of the room, it was essential that every detail felt special.
The club’s logo was crafted using a contrasting solid surface in the team’s signature blue and white colours. Using our state-of-the-art CNC machine, we precisely cut the logo and inlay materials, piecing them together seamlessly before gluing and sanding them into the bar top for a flawless finish. To further embed the theme, we creatively inlaid blue accents into the shelves and bar top, an innovative fabrication method that fully integrated the club’s colours into the overall design.
